"Muslims Aren't Interested in Being Afraid" Opening

  • Garfield Park Arts Center 2432 Conservatory Drive Indianapolis, IN, 46203 United States (map)

Muslims Aren’t Interested in Being Afraid is an exhibit that uplifts the resistance, life, diversity, and craft of the Indianapolis Muslim community. It is meant to show the world that despite rising Islamophobia and racism, Muslims are still thriving, surviving, and creating. From visual artists, to film-makers, to fashion designers, Muslims have been creating art and culture since the inception of this country and for thousands of years before. Visit our website for more information on each month’s exhibit theme.

Join us on First Friday for the opening reception of our latest exhibition, Muslims Aren't Interested in Being Afraid. Mingle with local artists, enjoy light appetizers, and live performances curated by Muslim Youth Collective - Indianapolis.

Although the opening night is July 5th, the exhibit will be up all month.
